Pontic dance is not just a series of steps; it is the living expression of the soul, of pride (leventia), of displacement (xerizomos), and of the inexhaustible strength of Pontic Hellenism. At the "Kallithea" Cultural and Athletic Association, dance has been the heart of our activities since 1979.

 

With the trembling of the shoulders, the stomping of feet on the ground, and the sound of the lyra, we all become one close group. From the circular, smooth dances to the iconic and armed pyrrichios dance "Serra" and the dynamic "Kotsari," we pass our tradition from generation to generation.

 

We offer classes for all age groups:

 

Children's Classes: For our young friends taking their first steps, learning to love their roots through play and rhythm.

 

Teen Classes: For youth to express their energy and passion, representing our Association at events and festivals.

 

Adult Classes (Beginners & Advanced): For those wishing to learn Pontic dance from scratch or advance their skills, exercise, and join our large community.

 

Performance Group: The "showcase" of our Association, proudly participating in festivals across Greece and abroad while wearing our authentic traditional costumes.
